Singapore’s website, VR-zone.com, a leading online technology news publication, has given a positive review of Shuttle’s SH87R6 mini-PC. The XPC barebones SH87R6 is equipped with an Intel H87 chipset and supports the latest Intel’ Haswell processor, integrating the new Intel®HD graphics core and compatible with DirectX 11.1 instructions. It is equipped with four long DIMM memory slots supporting dual-channel DDR3-1600 memory with total capacity up to 32GB. The SH87R6 is a reliable and powerful mini-PC designed to meet the consumer’s home, small office, and digital entertainment needs in style.
“It’s all about portability,” states VR-zone’s Sam Reynolds, “Shuttle’s SH87R6 XPC is a sinch to pack up and move owing to its light weight and small form factor. While other gamers will struggle to move their mega sized E-ATX cases, the SH87R6 just takes one hand.” The SH87R6 is a mere 1/3 the size of traditional tower desktop PCs but provides the same performance as regular desktops with high durability and powerful performance.
“Shuttle has a long history of excellence in building barebones PCs, and its SH87R6 is no exception,” reports Mr. Reynolds. “Ask a PC-builder what the go-to company for a barebones PC is, and the answer will likely be Shuttle. It’s impossible to deny that Shuttle is the most responsive company out there to the changing chipset market, announcing new barebones PCs compatible with whatever the most recent development is in the chip market.” It seems Intel’s Haswell processor, known for its high performance & small thermal footprint combo, has found a proper home in Shuttle’s power efficient SH87R6.
